Mrs. Coleman is a native of Natchez, MS. She has a passion for assisting young adults and guiding them on the path to become college and career ready . She spent the last 8 years in a few different roles in higher education. She served as the Southwest College Access Coordinator for Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning's College Knowledge Project and as program director for a health science program in Central Louisiana. She started with Hoover City Schools in August 2015.
She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys fitness activities, community service, and traveling with her husband and daughter.
