To join the Habitat for Humanity Club, bring $15.00 cash or check made out to Hoover High School for dues to G-306. Dues can be paid at the next meeting in October.

Print out the release waiver, fill it out completely and bring to Woodruff's room G-306.

Any student at Hoover may volunteer with the club, even if they do not join the club,but must complete and turn in a release waiver.

Parents are welcome to volunteer with the club but must complete and turn in a release waiver.

 2017-2018 School Year

The goal of the Habitat for Humanity Club is to offer students and faculty the opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Greater Birmingham at least one Saturday a month during the school year.


To raise awareness of the problems of homelessness and inadequate affordable housing, advocate for the cause of providing affordable housing, raise money to help provide affordable housing, and to provide volunteer opportunities for Hoover High School students to participate in new home construction and repair.

It meets in the practice gym.
