Before joining the faculty of Hoover High School I was a member of the faculty of Loyola University School of Medicine, followed by the University of Chicago School of Medicine and Stanford University School of Medicine. I spent several years working at the Palo Alto Veteran Affairs Hospital and in private practice here in Birmingham.
When I joined the Hoover High School faculty, I taught algebra, geometry and biology. For last 4 years I have been teaching in the Health Science Academy.
