Mr. Cable is a storyteller. His classes are known for the way the stories he shares weave themselves into and through the history he teaches thereby making that history real to his students. As an educator of over thirty-five years practice on both the secondary and post-secondary levels, his experiences (as a teacher, a coach, a college administrator, a greens keeper, a bartender, a son, a husband, a father, and a friend, among other things) and his imagination have fueled and inspired his work.

Mr. Cable has always tried to show that the story can make the facts more real.
