A native of Winona, Mississippi, I attended the University of Mississippi for my undergraduate studies and the University of Central Florida for graduate school.  When my daughter was born in 2000, my family and I moved to Birmingham to be closer to home.  Hoover soon became home for us and I truly love this community.  My daughter has attended school at South Shades Crest Elementary, Brock's Gap Intermediate, Bumpus Middle, and is currently attending Hoover High School where she is a senior and a member of the Hoover High School varsity cheerleading squad and the 2017-2018 competition squad, as well as the National Honor Society.  We are members of Desperation Church in Cullman, Alabama.  I enjoy watching movies in my spare time and spending time with my family and friends.  My dream is to one day have a house on the lake.   I have an older brother who is an orthodontist in Oxford, Mississippi and an olders sister who is dual certified as an Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist.  My daughter and I live in Kimberly, Alabama with our rescue chihuahua/yorkie mix, Diamond.
